Friday 3rd April

We woke up early, we had breakfast and we took the bus. We stayed many hours in the bus but we enjoyed it because we were watching films. We went to San Gimeano, a rural village,  it reminded us a lot of the villages of  high Berguedà. We pass there all morning and then we returned to take the bus to go to Genova’s port, where we had to take the boat at 8 am in the afternoon. The trip by boat was great, as it wasn’t dizzy and you could do many activities there. There was a cinema, a swimming pool, a very big livingroom with armchairs…

Thursday 2nd April

On Thursday we went to a very important town, Florence.

We love Florence.

First we visited Miguelangelo’s mirror where we could see all the town. Then we went to the most important bridge in Florence. It was full of jewelleries. We visited the cathedral, the big Market and lots of important squares and monuments.

We had lunch and then we could go shopping. We bought pasta, clothes, ice-creams… Florence’s ice-creams were delicious. We enjoyed a lot.

We want to returned there one day and visited it quietly.

We came back to Montecatini. We had dinner in the hotel and then we went to a disco. It was really boring and we left early.

It was the last night in Italy because on Friday we caught the boat to come back home.

Wednesday 1st Aprile

It was a special day because it was Alba’s birthday.

We went to Siena. We get up very early and we spent four hours in the bus to arrive at Siena. We arrived there at noon. Then we had lunch. Can you imagine what we ate there?

Yes, pastaaaa!

After lunch we went to visit the village, and suddenly started rain. Some of us had to buy an umbarella if they didn’t want to get wet. We visited a very important square where takes place a horses race between the differents neighborhoods of the village every year. We visited the cathedral and other places too. Then we had some free time to go for a walk.

We left the village early and the bus started going to Montecatini-Terme.

We looked for a hotel called Margherita, we were going to sleep there two nights.

That hotel wasn’t very confortable but we were happy.

At night was still rainning so we couldn’t go out and we stayed playing game all the night in the hotel’s livingroom.

Venice is wonderful. We had a good time there, but the weather wasn’t good enough. There we visited “the Ducal Palace”, a glass shop and the most important bridges. In the glass shop a man make a glass horse in less than a minute.

We had lunch in a restaurant and then we had all the afternoon to go shopping and visit by our own the town.

At seven o’clock we left.

We had dinner in the hotel and then we went to a disco near it.

The disco was crowded. There were lots of Spanish high schools.

We went to sleep at two o’clock.

Monday 30th March

We had spent all the night in the bus so we couldn’t sleep very well. We arrived in Sirmione at ten in the morning. Sirmione is a really nice town situated in the middle of a lake. The lake Garda is one of the biggest lakes in Italy, it seems the sea.

We started walking, we walked a few kilometres and we came into the village.

There were a lot of shops. They were really expensive so anyone can’t buy there.

The tour guide explained us some interesting things about the village and then we have free time. We went to the beach to watch the lake and the ducks. Then we found a little park in the top of the village.

At half past one we had lunch in a restaurant. It was called Ristorante Erica. There were pizza and kind of chocolate deserts to eat. The food were delicious. (Mmmm… we want to eat another pizza…)

When we finished eating we left Sirmione and the bus started going to Verona.

Verona, a lovely city, there Romeo and Juliet lived their love story. We arrived in Verona at half past four. We went to visited the town. There were a lots of monuments: Juliet’s house, Las Arenas… There were a lot of shops too. They were cheaper than Sirmione’s shops and we like it. But before go shopping, we visited Las Arenas, it’s a very big romane coliseum. Rosa explained us that every year there’s a concert in it.

We left Verona at half past seven.

We were going to Lido di Jessolo, a village near Venecia. We arrived there at half past nine. We were going to sleep two nights in the hotel Colombo. we choose our rooms and we had dinner in the same hotel.

At night we went to the beach. Some of us (Anna, Alba, Isaac, Jordi, Cristian...) started playing near the sea and got wet.

Sunday 29th March

The bus left at 5 o’clock in the afternoon. So we had made the bags during the weekend. What did we put in the bag? We put more clothes than we needed, a hair dryer, make-up, shampoo, towels, trainers and shoes… We took our cameras and we were ready to go. Everyone arrived at time. The bus arrived early too. It was yellow, new and comfortable. There were two bus drivers, a man and a woman, the woman was called Maria and the man Manuel. We thought they could be married but they were only good friends. There was a tour guide too, she was Rosa. We were really exciting and nervous. What could happen in Italy? Suddenly the bus started and we said goodbye to our parents. The trip started!During the travel we had stopped every three hours before we arrived in Italy. We stopped in the Jonquera, Montpelier, Aix-en-provence, near Brecia…
